Week 11 (Saints): By, By Bye; On To New Orleans

Greetings SEMBBers!Well, it’s been and interesting two weeks. What surprised me is that there wasn’t the expected ‘Fire Sale’ by the Browns before the trade deadline, save for Za’Darius Smith being sent off to the Lions. Best wishes for him. Before that we lost 27-10 against the Chargers and the other Harbaugh brother. While Jameis Winston didn’t help his case as the Browns signal caller, it was blown coverages/poor communication in the secondary that sealed our fate. We now stand 2-7 on the year. And, we’re now on to the long stretch until the season’s end.For those interested, my knee replacement went swimmingly and I am on the road to recovery.

BY, BY BYE
Well after losing to the Chargers the Browns got the bye week, with hopes of rest and an extra week of healing. But, what would Browns bye week be without some sort of kerfuffle–See Jedrick Willis’ “Business Decision.”We’re now past the halfway mark with eight games left to go.

BROWNS IN NEW ORLEANS TO TAKE ON THE SAINTS
The Browns are in New Orleans to take on the 3-7 Saints. Based on performances this year it appears to be a relatively even matchup, with the visiting Browns given a slight edge of 1.5 points by the oddsmakers.Kickoff is at 1 pm. The CBS affilliate will be broadcasting the Jaguars – Lions game so no local airing of the Brwons game again.

That’s it for this week except, of course, always and forever…GO BROWNS!!!
