Greetings SEMBBers!Well, the Browns are 3-12 and another season is coming to an end. The media circus surrounding Shadeur Sanders is still in full swing and talk is rampant about Stefanski getting the boot at the end of the season. Unfortunately for us fans it seems like same old, same old.
I will admit that last Sunday’s Bills game was entertaining and that Sanders acquitted himself fairly well–despite missing some key components on the offense, but I’m still not convinced he’s worth the hype. I liked the creative play calling early in the game, but then it devolved back into the same unimaginative schemes that have plagued the offense all season.
Myles Garret is one sack away from setting the all-time NFL record, with two games to go.
Ah, well, as Browns fans we’ve gone through this before. We deserve better, but I’m not convinced that will happen under the current ownership.MERRY CHRISTMAS
On behalf of myself and the rest of the club officers, I want to wish you and yours a very safe and Merry Christmas. Here’s to the little kids getting what they wished for from “Santa” and for the parents to have a respite from the everyday struggles and challenges. Merry Christmas SEMBB!
THE SQUEELERS COME TO TOWN
Normally on games around Christmas we don’t hold viewings. However, since this is the second game against Pukesburg–and the NFL sack record is on the line–we will be having a viewing this Sunday at the Den, Susan will be there to host, so why not take a break and join her an your fellow club members and fans. Kickoff is 1 pm
ANNOUNCEMENT
Well, after nearly 20 years with this club I’ve decided to step aside as President and hand the reins over to Susan Wehinger once this season is officially over. So, my last official game hosting will be the Bengals game on Sunday, January 4th. I will have a special ‘White Elephant’ Raffle for everyone who shows up, so I hope to see you there!
