Greetings SEMBBers
Well, another week another loss. And now we’re hosting Baltimore at home. Yes, its frustrating!
A FRUSTRATING LOSS IN THE MEADOWLANDS What was looking like a potential win for the Browns, ended in a frustrating loss. I just have a few observations:Capt. Obvious thought–The two special team breakdowns were the backbreakers of the game. Bubba Ventrone’s squad has been, for the most part, solid for the past couple of years. Not spectacular, but generally solid (Field Goal miscues notwithstanding). Let’s hoping its just an aberration. The Defense continues to be the lone bright spot on the team.I’m scratching my head on what the offensive game plan is. Gabriel was a mobile passer his entire college career, and when the offense came out early calling plays designed with his experience in mind things clicked. Why they abandoned this strategy late in the game and kept him in the pocket is beyond me.
HOSTING THE RATBIRDS So, this Sunday afternoon, the 2-7 Browns will host the 4-5 Ratbirds at the Stadium. It’s an unusual East Coast afternoon game with a 4:25 pm kickoff. The game will not be broadcast on local TV. Why not come to the Den and join your fellow fans to view the game and cheer on the Browns!
That’s all for now except, of course, always and forever…
GO BROWNS!!!
