Week 13: Short Blast This Week

Greetings SEMBBers!
Just a brief blast this week.

First, I believe last Sunday’s game was representative of how the team should have been playing all season. Personally, I think the players took matters more into their hands–especially on defense.

It was an exciting game for the most part, with a bit or heartburn here and there. But, in the end, the Browns pulled it out and got a win against a good Tampa Bay team. I think it was a potential fitting swan song for Jacoby Brissette. I’ve heaped some criticism on him during the season, but I will admit that he did all he could to keep the team competitive during games. But, this may the the only season we see him in a Browns uniform.
ON TO HOUSTON AND WATSON’S DEBUT
So, the Browns are in Houston to take on the Texans tomorrow. And, yes, it is the debut of the off-season’s most controversial Browns pickup–Deshaun Watson. Now begins the critical review of that offseason deal–over the next six games we’ll see the worth of it.

Kickoff is at 1 pm. The game will not be televised in the Metro area…in fact, it appears that the NFL has taken great pains in minimizing the broadcast exposure of this game. I’ll leave it up to you to decide why the league is trying to keep things low key.

I’ll be at the Den hosting tomorrow’s viewing so, please come on in and watch it with me. Cheer for the team–remember, there are 52 other players on the team that we can cheer for! As we all know, players come and players go…but the team will endure.

That’s it for this week except…

 GO BROWNS!!!
