Week 7 – Hosting the ‘Fins; On to New England and then A Bye (Dolphins@Browns)

Greetings SEMBBers! OK, we’re past a third of the season and I’m ready to rant a bit more. I HATE THE STEELERS. Last Sunday simply reinforced that feeling. I’ll leave that as it is. Flacco update: – While ultimately losing the game, Flacco kept the Bengals in the game against the Packers and had a decent outing offense-wise. – Yesterday, Flacco was able to rally the Bengals against Pukesburg in a TNF victory. Again, he had a decent QB outing, especially against a relatively tough Squeeler defense. – So, two decent outings under center for a new team with a new offense tells me Flacco WAS NOT THE PROBLEM here. Our offense is a mess, and that blame is laid right at the feet of Coach Stefanski. – One final tidbit–apparently the Flacco trade was a surprise to Stefanski. The decision was apparently made by Andrew Berry without consulting Stefanski. Obviously, this does not bode well. HOSTING THE ‘FINS This Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY! the 1-5 Browns will host the 1-5 Miami Dolphins at the Stadium. Surprisingly, we are favored to win the game! Kickoff is at 1 pm. No Metro Detroit channels will be broadcasting the game, so come join us at The Den to view the game and cheer on the Browns to a victory! NEXT WEEK, NEW ENGLAND AND AFTER A BYE Looking quickly ahead, the Browns will be in Foxborough on the 26th to take on the Patriots. My daughter and granddaughter will be joining me to host the viewing at the Den. And. following that, we will mercifully have a bye week.
